Notes

Digital Camera output adaptors:
Sony CATX50
Dockable Output Adaptor
with teleprompter power

For DXCD30/35/50 Series
Camera Heads (interchangeable with CA-TX7*)
76-pin digital or Pro-50-pin analog selectable dock to camera, Digital or Analog Triax, Return out (BNC),  2 mic inputs, 2 Ch intercom with level control, prompter out, DC prompter power or large lens power out (35W), Data out (10-pin), Gen Lock in

Purchase from VTP

*Note: various limitations may apply to functionality based on camera head (DXC 30/35/50).  The CATX7 was discontinued in October of 2004.  The CATX50 camera head dockable output adaptor works with the CCU-TX50 4RU CCU (priced and sold separately).   The CCU-TX50 now includes the DXBK-701 SDI output board as standard as well as the COU-TX7 standard operational panel.  Two CCU-TX50s can be installed side by side in the optional RMM-301 rack mount bracket.  For remote panel operations on the CCU-TX50, the optional RCPD50 Camera Remote Control Panel can be used.

Analog Camera output adaptors:
Sony CA755
Camcorder Output Adaptor for
Triax and selective CCU control

For DVW/DNW Series Camcorders
40-pin digital dock to DVW/DNW camcorder, wideband Analog Triax out, 1 Ch intercom, DC in (4-pin XLR)

Purchase from VTP
.

Note: This adaptor mounts on the V-lock battery mounting on the back of the camcorder and provides the necessary 40-pin interface to the camcorder to operate the DVW/DNW with the CCU550A wide-band analog or CCU700A camera control unit (coax BNC conversion to Triax required, local power at camera head, or Triax Kings type Triax for 525/59.94 NTSC with DC power through the Triax). The DVW sends this adaptor digital video which is converted internally within the adaptor to wideband analog for output through the Triax connection (22.5 MHz Y, 45 MHz for Chroma) to the supporting CCU.  The supporting CCU then converts this to 4:2:2 SDI component digital output (at the CCU/CCU SDI optional output).  The DVW needs to be running vers. 2.10 or greater software, and the camera set-up card is inoperative when the output adaptor/CCU control path is connected.

DC in: XLR 4-pin,11.5V to 17V
Ret Out: BNC
Ret Control: 6-pin
Earphone: Mini-Jack 8 ohm
CCU: Kings type Triax connectors
Intercom/PGM: headset XLR 5-pin
40-Pin connector (to camcorder)
