480i/59.94 NTSC Operation only. The optional FireWire interface, the AJ-YAD755, will
allow any of the NTSC supported DV playback formats to pass through and much like the
AJ-YAD455 will convert the DV signals on the fly to NTSC DVCPRO or DVCPRO to DV, making
the AJ-SD755 an ideal machine to generate DVCPRO clones from archive worthy DV acquisition
tapes. Up to 126 minutes of NTSC DVCPRO recording
using AJP126L cassettes, 184 minutes of NTSC DVCPRO playback using legacy AJ5P92L
cassettes.
Auto-format playback detection for
seamless playback of DVCPRO, DVCAM and DV format recordings (cassette adaptor required
for mini-DV format cassette playback). Tape cassette load-in time of three
seconds and servo lock time of less than 1/4 second. Audio volume control can be either
Record or Playback level based upon the position of the front panel button. The latest D/A
conversion technology jog audio for DV and DVCAM tapes. Compact 4RU-size.
Variable slow motion playback (-0.43X to +0.43X in reverse and normal speed) for clean,
noiseless images, as well as other VTR tricks like Tape Speed Override or Dynamic Motion
Control. The SDI
option provides for 3 outputs, one of which has Character/Menu Superimpose capability. Y/C
input and output is not supported in this VTR. Output level of the video composite
analog output is not adjustable. No PAL
playback or record. No DVCPRO50 playback or record, no DVCPROHD playback or record.
