JVC ProHD Products
ProHD is a unique marketing viewpoint to enhance the HDV-1 format originally embraced by JVC to reflect the potential for possible future enhancements to audio (possibly PCM) and allowing for progressive 23.98P 720p High Definition imaging capture without pull down.  Device depending, it is actually made up of several compressed capture possibilities that use IBP GOP Structure 4:2:0 MPEG2 Transport Stream Main Profile at H-14 Level for 1280x720 aperture.  In either case, ProHD and HDV recordings may involve specifically imposed constraints depending upon the device and software, and this may affect tape or file interchange.
