Panasonic's AG-3DA1 3D Camcorder is the world's first dual integrated lens 3D Camera. Building on the straightforward menu structure of its predecessors and without the alignment complications and high cost of traditional two camera 3D rigs, the new AG-3DA1 camera provides a simple alternative to shooting high-end 3D pictures. It is the only camera where the lenses, camera head, and a dual Memory Card recorder are integrated into a single, lightweight body.

At less than 6.6 pounds, the AG-3DA1 is equipped with dual lenses and two full 1920 x 1080 2.07 megapixel 3-MOS imagers to record 1080/60i, 50i, 30p, 25p and 24p (native) and 720/60p and 50p in AVCHD. It can record for up to 180 minutes on dual 32GB SD cards in Panasonic’s professional AVCHD PH mode, and offers professional interfaces including dual HD-SDI out, HDMI (version 1.4), two XLR connectors, built-in stereo microphone and twin-lens camera remotes.

The AG-3DA1 has a simple to use “in camera” convergence alignment capability from 10 to 100 feet and with the new dual 3MOS imager technology, captures stunning 3D images. Functions for automatically correcting horizontal and vertical displacement are also provided in-camera, enabling the camera to automatically recalibrate without any external equipment and allowing immediate 3D image capture.

The solid-state memory file-based recording system offers greater flexibility to produce Full HD 3D videos reliably in more challenging shooting environments. Right and Left Full HD video streams of the twin-lens 3D camcorder can be recorded and distributed as files on SDHC/SD Memory Cards, ensuring higher reliability than tape, optical disc, HDD or other mechanical-based recording systems.

The Panasonic BT-3DL2550 64.8cm/25.5 inches 3D LCD Monitor is designed specifically for broadcast and other professional applications. Featuring a wide color gamut and 10 bit 3D LUT for faithful color reproduction, this HD(1920 x 1200 pixel) monitor offers the image display performance that broadcast, movie production and other professional applications demand. It is also capable of displaying 3D images for viewing with 3D Polarized Eyewear. The BT-3DL2550 supports three types of 3D video input: simultaneous, line-by-line and side-by-side. A 3D video system is easily configured by combining the BT-3DL2550 with the AG-3DA1 Integrated Twin-Lens FULL HD 3D Camcorder and the AG-HMX100 3D Digital AV Mixer.

The BT-3DL2550 is equipped with a wide color space that is 102% that of the NTSC standard, exceeding the EBU/SMPTE range that can be displayed by ordinary LCDs. It offers three wide color space modes of Adobe (RGB y=2.2, y=1.8) and D-Cinema (y=2.6) in addition to the three broadcast modes of SMPTE, EBU and ITU-709. Precise 10 bit image processing using a three dimensional LUT allows for faithful color reproduction while the high speed, high performance I/P conversion circuit achieves superb motion response with a delay of less than one field between input and panel display.

The BT-3DL2550 comes installed with software that allows it to be calibraed without using a PC, by simply connecting a manufacturer-designated display color analyzer and measurement probe to the monitor. It also comes equipped with a cine-gamma (F-REC) compensation function for compatability as a monitor for a Varicam camcorder as well as a 2-input split screen function. Aspect, Safe Area and Center Markers can all be displayed in both 16:9 and 4:3 apect ratios. Finally, the BT-3DL2550 comes standard with display functions such as Cross Hatch Overlay, Audio Level Meter, Mono Mode and Time Code Display can be accessed in both 3D or 2D mode while Closed Caption Display and HV Delay Display are only available for 2D

Panasonic's AG-HMX100 is a compact, all-in-one, digital AV mixer with a built-in HD/SD multi-format video switcher, audio mixer, frame synchronizer and digital effector. It serves as an audio/video switcher, adds a variety of effects, and transmits signals - all by itself. A Multi-View function displays all source images on a single monitor, while keeping the system configuration simple and clean. Users benefit from easy delivery, set-up and removal at event sites, as well as low-cost operation.

Wide-ranging SDI (HD/SD), PC (DVI-I) and HDMI (HD only) inputs, versatile digital effects, and comfortable Matrix Menu operation join with advanced functions, such as control of Panasonic professional projectors, to configure a low-cost system that supports a wide variety of applications, from live relays and broadcasting to production. The AG-HMX100 can also operate as a 3D video switcher with dual SDI inputs. By combining it with several 3D cameras and 3D projectors, it can serve as a 3D live switching system for low-cost, easy-to-use, 3D image broadcasting and production systems.The AG-HMX100 supports 1080i/720p HD and SD images with a full 4:2:2:4 digital component 12 bit internal processor, ensuring broadcast-grade images. The mixer features 7 video inputs, 6 video outputs and 10 audio inputs.

The AG-HMX100 Digital AV Mixer fully supports the Panasonic shift toward 3D world. Combined with the Panasonic AG-3DA1 Integrated Twin-Lens 3D Camera Recorder, and the 3D-compatible BT-3DL2550 Professional LCD Video Monitor, which lets you view 3D footage on-site, this professional HD 3D production system makes it easy to produce and transmit high quality 3D images.The AG-HMX100 can operate as a 3D video switcher with dual SDI signal inputs from 3D cameras. It comes with two pairs of
inputs and one pair of outputs for 3D video signals. It is possible to configure a 3D live switching system by combining it with several 3D cameras and 3D projection systems. Both Simultaneous and Side-by-Side 3D output methods are supported. When two AG-HMX100 units are connected, they can serve as a 3D video switcher for up to four 3D cameras.
