Designed for durable performance in the field, the PCD2 features a ruggedized encasing and comes with two USB 2.0 cables - one for file transfer and one for power, so no separate power supply is required.

With a 64GB P2 card inserted, the PCD2 can offer immediate access to more than four hours of DVCPRO, two hours of DVCPRO50 or AVC-Intra 50, or more than an hour of DVCPRO HD or AVC-Intra 100 content.

The AJ-PCD20 P2 solid-state memory drive answers the need of today's video professional for faster, easier file transfers on the desktop or in the field. This flexible, time-saving internal/external drive allows users to mount five P2 cards simultaneously for instant access and continuous editing of all recorded content in sequence. The P2 drive now offers an IEEE1394b interface (in addition to USB 2.0) for high-speed transfers of DVCPRO, DVCPRO50, or DVCPRO HD content into nonlinear editing systems and servers. Compatible with Windows 2000, XP and MAC OS X, the AJ-PCD20 can be installed directly into a standard PC 5.25" bay drive enclosure or connected to a computer and local area network (LAN) via its USB 2.0 or IEEE1394b interfaces. The flexible AJ-PCD20 also serves as a stand-alone external drive when connected with laptops for in-the-field use.

The PCD35 is designed to provide professionals with a faster, more convenient file transfer workflow with the latest generation of computers equipped with a PCI Express (PCIe) bus. The P2 PCD35 offers faster transfer of content from up to five P2 cards simultaneously.

The PCD35 is compatible with both Windows XP and Mac OS X platforms and plugs easily into a tower computer's PCI Express card slots for flexible playback or editing. The drive supports all P2 card sizes, as well as all P2 formats and frame rates.

The AG-MSU10 is a lightweight mobile storage unit that simplifies backing-up P2 content in the field. The MSU10 offers one P2 card slot and a slot for the removable AG-MBX10 tray, which houses a 2.5" drive (not included). The compact P2 Media Storage Unit removes the need for computers or larger, more expensive appliances in the field and can quickly free up P2 cards for additional shooting.

The AG-MSU10 offers the flexibility of AC or battery operation and includes USB 2.0 and eSATA interfaces for easy connection to NLEs. The AG-MBX10 removable drive tray also includes USB 2.0 and eSATA interfaces. This bus-powered unit can be easily transported from the field and connected to NLEs, including PCs and Macs, to expedite the editing process. Content is transferred from a P2 card to the drive at four times real-time.

The MSU10 is perfect for the field and supports multiple workflows. In addition to back-up from the P2 card to removable MBX10 tray drive, the MSU10 also allows offers Host and Device functions. This allows the unit to be a P2 card reader (when connected to a computer), or to host an external drive for copying to that drive.

Featuring AVC-Intra recording, the powerful, 2.5-pound AG-HPG20 P2 Portable brings easy playback, recording and file copying of 10-bit, 4:2:2 content to field and studio work. Equipped with two P2 card slots and a 3.5-inch LCD monitor, the P2 Portable lets you view content immediately in a variety formats -- whether it's 10-bit, 4:2:2 AVC-Intra or DVCPRO HD or in standard definition in DVCPRO50, DVCPRO and DV.

With professional inputs/outputs (IEEE 1394, USB 2.0 and HD-SDI) and AVC-Intra support, the P2 Portable serves as a low-cost, master-quality deck for fast, file-based recording in high quality production workflows. The unit's HD/SD-SDI input terminal gives the flexibility of HD or SD line recording from a wide range of video sources, bridging content to and from older tape-based systems and new HD-SDI infrastructures. The shock-resistant, solid-state recorder features a wide range of clip playback and management functions (including metadata editing), speakers and easy-to-use controls.

The battery-powered HPG20 is compatible with Panasonic's range of camcorders and camera systems and can work with a broad range of non-Panasonic camera systems. Windows PC and Mac compatible.

The AJ-HRW10 P2 Rapid Writer is a simple, easy-to-use workflow solution for backing up P2 content. With slots for two removable 3.5-inch hard disk drives (HDDs) and a built-in AJ-PCD35 five-slot P2 memory drive, the HRW10 automatically transfers data from up to five P2 cards to RAID-1 mirrored or JBOD-configured disk drives. Whether used in production or for live events, this flexible workflow tool puts the critical back-up function well within the grasp of even the least technical members of a production team.

The Rapid Writer features a 5-inch color LCD touch screen, a G-bit Ethernet port, an internal speaker and a headphone jack. The color touch screen displays clips in thumbnails and allows you to playback, pause, forward or rewind content directly from P2 cards or the disk drives, providing assurance that the content was copied. Removable hard disk drives, disk cradle and rack enclosures, power supply and batteries are sold separately.

The Rapid Writer is versatile in that it allows you to take advantage of the market's wide offering of quality disk drives and enclosures. The ability to use common disk drives provides flexibility in the field as well as when you return to the post facility. Many new disk drive enclosures, including the one provided with the Rapid Writer package (HRW10-PAC1), offer network connectivity and separate power. This benefits you in that the drive, once removed from the Rapid Writer, can be connected directly to a standard computer without the need for a special disk enclosure.

The AJ-HPD2500 P2 HD recorder/player offers full 10-bit, 4:2:2 AVC-Intra and DVCPRO/50/HD recording and playback with extensive production features, versatile connectivity and optional AVCHD transcoding. The rack-mountable recorder features multi-format 1080/720 recording, cuts editing, live video up-conversion, 24p time code input, audio/video and IT connectivity – with audio/video feature enhancements tailored for truck and facility operation.

Designed for use in mobile truck, broadcast studio and production facilities, the HPD2500 is equipped with six P2 card slots, a 4.3" LCD display and an editing control panel. The recorder mounts easily into existing infrastructures of sports trucks and broadcast studios. The recorder's interface offers a full range of A/V IOs (HD-SDI, composite, SD-SDI out) to support a variety of applications from line and studio recording to editing, transmitting and archiving to synchronizing dailies. With its eSATA, USB and Giga-bit Ethernet (GigE) connections, the HPD2500 can serve as bridge between file-based systems and existing baseband video workflows. Additional features include digital AES/EBU audio (8-ch), two-channel XLR monitor outputs, enhanced thumbnail display functions, and a remote encoder.
